Tamlin, nursing his own wounds and smarting at his inability to protect Feyre while she was doing all of the heavy curse breaking lifting, rallies the troops (literally) to watch over her. Pretty terrible things that haunt her dreams and make her new life with Tamlin feel tainted. In order to break a nasty curse and hopefully bring peace to both the faerie and human world, Feyre had to do some pretty terrible things at the end of book 1. This is the second book in the Court of Thorns and Roses series, so if you haven’t read that yet, by all means DO. This will get a smidge spoiler-y from this point on. I’d really just like to leave it there, but we have that pesky 250 word obligation so, here goes. May have murmured “so, so, good” under my breath first.
